Ocean Day

Grade 1 and 2 students celebrated World Ocean Day with great enthusiasm through a creative “Life Under the Ocean” craft activity. The children explored the beauty of marine life by designing colourful underwater scenes and sea creatures using art and craft materials. The activity helped them understand the importance of oceans, the animals that live in them, and the need to keep our oceans clean and pollution-free. It was a wonderful blend of creativity, learning, and environmental awareness. The children of Grades 3C4 participated in a creative activity where they made wristbands using paper. They decorated their wristbands beautifully and wrote meaningful quotes about protecting and caring for our oceans. The activity helped them learn about the importance of oceans and encouraged them to become responsible caretakers of our environment. Grades 5-7 celebrated World Oceans Day through a creative ‘Crown Making’ activity. This activity helped the students understand the importance of oceans, marine life, and our role in protecting them. Each crown carried powerful ocean-saving slogans designed by the children.
